Freezing or pausing your Equinox membership
Equinox allows a Freeze only for medical necessity or another legally required reason (not general convenience), and only if your account is in good standing (not on a payroll-subsidized corporate plan or short-term membership), per Equinox's own Member Policies. You get one Freeze during your initial commitment, then one per membership year after (medical Freezes are unlimited); requests must be made in advance — no retroactive Freezes — via Concierge@Equinox.com. A monthly Freeze fee applies (member reports cite roughly $30-$50/month; Equinox's published Member Policies don't state a dollar figure, so confirm your exact fee with Concierge).
