The gotcha
Historically could NOT cancel by phone, email, app or chat - only in person or certified mail. Online cancellation has been added at many clubs but isn't universal. Clubs are franchised so methods vary. People get hit with the annual fee if they cancel after the 25th-of-prior-month deadline.
